Educational path for the blind and partially sighted
While walking around the ZOO, one cannot help but notice the beautiful bronze sculptures of animals. Sculptures with description plaques in Braille and sound maps of the Zoological Garden are part of the path that facilitates touring the Garden and getting to know particular species of animals by blind and partially sighted people. The path was co-financed from the funds of the Voivodeship Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Warsaw. The presented sculptures were selected in a nationwide competition from among several dozen submitted models.
